Nature and environment

Priority for nature and environment

Before it became Camping Beauregard as you know it today, this part of Marseillan Plage used to be a vineyard in the 1960s. The first campers stayed between the vines…

Since 50 years, the campsite has managed to highlight the natural en environmental aspects of the site. It remains a wooded and flowery oasis of peace, a privileged setting in nature with a direct access to the beach, to enjoy an ecological stay!

Traditional and ecological…

To offer you the best holiday possible in the Languedoc-Roussillon, a stay where nature, quality of life and the comfort of campers are gathered, Camping*** Beauregard-Plage commits to offering you a different type of holiday in Marseillan-Plage with keywords as nature and complete change of scenery.

Ecological policy

  • The use of ecological products for the upkeep of the vegetation: natural fertilisers in stead of chemicals;
  • Composting of green (when cutting the grass and the hedges…);
  • Waste sorting and recycling;
  • Low consumption LED lighting;
  • Sanitary facilities equipped with water saves and hot water by solar energy...

Diversified vegetation for a holiday in nature!

All year round, the campsite takes particularly care of the plants, flowers and trees, by choosing typical Mediterranean species like rose-bays, tamaris, fig trees... Choosing for flora adapted to the climate allows to save water and it takes less upkeeping.

Unspoiled fauna…

The campsite is ideally located near the lake of Thau and the nature reserve of Bagnas. This lagoon-like area of the Hérault coast is a major site for migratory birds like stilts, avocets, or the common tern which may be observed around the campsite.
